EV Service FAQs
Answers to common questions about diagnostics, maintenance, pricing, and what to expect at NOVA EV SERVICE.
Do you service all EV brands?
We work with a wide range of electric vehicle makes and models. Share your vehicle details and service concern when booking so we can confirm support before your visit.
Do I have to take my EV to the dealership?
Not always. Many diagnostic, maintenance, electrical, and mechanical services can be completed by a qualified independent EV shop. Manufacturer recalls and certain warranty-covered repairs may still need to be handled by the dealership.
How much does EV diagnostic service cost?
The cost depends on the symptoms and testing required. We’ll explain the diagnostic scope and pricing before beginning any chargeable work. When appropriate, the diagnostic fee may be applied toward an approved repair.
Do you provide basic EV maintenance?
Yes. NOVA EV SERVICE provides routine services such as tire balancing, four-wheel alignment, brake and suspension inspections, cabin filter replacement, fluid checks, and other maintenance based on your vehicle’s condition and manufacturer recommendations.
Do you offer component-level electronic repair?
When appropriate, we can diagnose and repair certain electronic modules and circuit boards at the component level. Repairability depends on the module, damage, parts availability, and safety requirements.
Will you repair my vehicle without approval?
No. We’ll explain what we found, outline the recommended work, and provide pricing before moving forward. You decide which repairs to authorize.
What does “NOVA-refurbished” mean?
A NOVA-refurbished part is a previously used EV component that has been professionally restored in-house by NOVA EV SERVICE. Our technicians inspect, diagnose, repair, and function-test each eligible component before approving it for installation. It can provide a more practical and cost-effective alternative to a new replacement. Compatibility, pricing, condition, and applicable warranty coverage are explained before you decide.
How long will the service take?
Timing depends on the concern, testing required, and parts availability. After the initial assessment, we’ll give you a clearer estimate and keep you updated if anything changes.
